  7. paired up the stock 3 days ago.
  8. Some of my pigeons have like black lumps. Some have it on their necks and some on their backs. An other fancier told me it was from too much protein. Could it be true or what do you recommend? Thank you Bluehen question by: robert dowdall answer by: Dr Ruben Lanckriet Dear Sir, The black lumps are caused by a pox virus. This virus is not the pigeon pox virus itself but it resembles it. Mostly the lumps don't cause much problems. After a couple of weeks they just dry out and fall off. If they are traumatised they can cause some severe bleeding though. In such cases you can put a ligature around the lump. It will dry out and fall off. The virus itself doesn't cause other problems.

  16. was surprised this morning, thought drinkers would have been frozen but just a very thin layer floating in them
  17. vandies, flown very well up here in cumbria a few years ago, george gorleys, bill heatleys lines very good especially on hard days at the channel, they would fly till dark, wish i could get hold of some now, the likes of the late bobby adair & the late widdy moore flew them and were always at the top of the tree

  19. just paired 7 pair of stock today, soon as i put hens in they all started to tread, great, but all were paired up same pairs last time.
  20. when i was showing on a saturday, bathed no later than wednesday, kept in rest of week, put in show basket friday night with newspapers put on top of partitions, put next to a radiator all saturday morning then when you took them out to put in pens they were coverd in bloom and that was for racers
