my stock birds were given baytril for ten days before being put together, they never looked as if they ailed from anything, great droppings looked great but i just wanted to make sure, all 7 pair were sitting eggs at 11 days, prevention is better than cure j m o

happened twice to me this year when old birds were exercising, thick fog came in, never saw a bird for a couple of hours, was thinking they would hit wires, ariels but when fog started to lift birds started to come back in ones and twos till all got back, just hope the mist is not there in the morning mate and they will be there ist thing

soon as i wean them they stop in loft till next day then they are put out on the bink with the doors closed otherwise they would not come out but after this day you can leave the door open and they cant wait to come out

wouldnt be without a fantail, every time birds finish exercising, it gets thrown down into the door in racing season, y/birds, as soon as they start batching i do the same, you have to drill it into them

put a hand full of sand and sawdust mixed together in the pan after been together for 3 days then use tobacco stalks and a bit of good dry straw in to let them build with but make sure it is good quality, no dampness
