Theres no 1 way or "best way" in this game, everyone does something a bit different, just the top lads are doing it better than us ordinary fliers. No secrets its just a case of finding birds that love their home, have the ability to fly the distances you want them too and then youve got to keeep them as healthy as possible and motivate them to hurry up!!! Its a long road to the top thats why the top lads are there, but dont ever think "1 size suits all" cos it dont!!! The lads are right ou pick up more off here than an system for a tenner!!!

why give them candy,s before they need them? nowt wrong with beans at the right time and right amount but maize is like candy to a baby, id hold off until tues/wed the week of the race, too much sugar can cause problems the youngbirds dont need! I find GP best used with the full feeding program as recommended by VL it appears to work!

Mick, I was under the impression that once they are disconnected from the pad thats it it stops recording unless you buy something else to carry on while our at the club. Unicon the black box goes to club base unit stays at loft but they £550ish dont know about Tauris but Bricon sell an add on to do this aswell, on a limited budget looking for best value for money.

Has anyone purchased this system and using for racing this year, just looking for some feed back as it appears to be good value for money and the Benzing name gotta be one of the best and oldest in pigeon clocks. Cheers

If we raced lofts then theyd be top but we dont! They do however make some quality products and will ask for your input into the design of the loft you want, after all its your cash! But its the birds that race and a good home made, well ventilated loft is just as good as the £10,000 loft from any loft maker.

I put cabbage, lettuce, diced carrot anything really in for the stock birds regularly, anything left over from sunday dinner preparation. They eat greens in the wild so why not let thm have the option in captivity?

Sorry to go off on a little tangent but how many of the ets users are actually using the new ring??? everyone i know already has the other type and arent buyer the chips to fit the new life ring.

Increase the protein levels in the corn, this can be done by adding different grains to a mix, the irish mixes contain more beans, peas etc (protein) adding fats doesnt hurt niether, (peanuts)

Hi mate is this Newcastle-upon-tyne? down in Teesside we paying alot more even from the farm and if we get a few together itmay be worth the ride.

Why is it these up grades arent available during the closed season? theres 2 weeks to go and everyones running round trying to get everything done ready for the 1st race. I think part of this is to locate how many of the free club systems were actually issued and too whom, as at first they were giving them away like candies and they have to cost something! That'll be the next thing, if you dont pay for the extended warrenty the club system will go wrong, just like your hoover, cooker, fridge and tele all seem to do 1 month after the 1 years guarentee runs out!!
