I know this should not go here but ive been wating for months for a reply to becomming a seller,and if Oldyellow remembers i did speak to him to let him know anyhow i have had on loan a Delbar hen from an old local fancier who has decided to sell her im not in a position to buy this hen is 05 and he bought it from a guy called warren roberts or robertson i think his from up north i believe this was bought when the guy packed up the guy who owns this hen is a top flier and has won Bergerac at club level with 1 from this hen im sorry i dont have more details he is looking for around £70 for this hen ps she is a big hen

I would just like to congratulate Casbri on getting a bird from Barcelona 840 miles although just out of race time but still an achievment well done

I was going to send but then i heard that Casbri was sending so thought no point me sending as his going to beat me anyway plus his mob flying Good luck to all the brave pigeons going to this race also to the fanciers who have put in the time and effort & patience preparing these birds for the last 3 or so years

I was told a few years ago that pulling a cock from another cocks nest box and hitting or throwing him does no good as the rogue or dominant cock has to turn and his back on the cock that owns the box and either be forced out by cock whose box it is or give up ground and leave dont know if this is true but he did say dunk dominant cock in bucket of water for a few seconds so he is short of breathe then the cock who owns box has the upper hand and once the dominant cock is forced out by other cock he wont return

I thought that Barley was only grain to contain all 8 essential amino acids read it in feed to win heres a little tip i learnt myself when weaning youngsters keep a watch on thier eyes if any youngsters eyes start looking like thier squinting or eyes not fully open it is a sign of dehydration normally due to not drinking a quick dunk of the beak in water is needed

Theres 4/5 i havent taken pics of John as they are a couple of days younger and not really feathered so i hope you dont mind waiting til they come up before you see them
