Hi Kev
the little yellow i bought from you is going to its first race tomorrow. alway there or there abouts on every training toss mate. will let you know how she gets on
Depends on which photo you are talking about? on the one it is broccoli, on the other it is the type that talks back and the finally it is the guarding type!! :)
right, where do i start??? beetroot, cabage, cauliflower, peas, beans, lettuce, spinnach, tomatoes, garlic, broccoli, onions, leeks, squash, cucumber. think thats it, grow it on a small piece of ground behind my loft.
couldnt agree more Stuart. Davey helped me start up four years ago, and when my loft was broken into and cleaned out before i could start racing he bred me another round of 23 babies to start up again. he hasnt stopped there and bred me a few more this year. Davey and Amanda will do anything to help the sport and are truly a top top couple.
Paul
i could do this for you next Sunday mate, i am travelling from the North east down to London passing both Leeds and Leicester on route. let me know if any good to you
Kev
i hope i dont kick myself for saying this but havent had a single one yet and trained yb's to 78 miles. i have had one hit the wires though but thats it. started with 25, dropped one early on and thats it. got 24 in the loft including the one that knocked itself :o
Hi Mate
i cant help you with giving your birds a home, but do have about 6 spare GB 09 rings if they are any good. would gladly put them in the post for you if you PM me your address.
i have a team of 25 late breds that are only starting to take to the air now. some of them havent come out of the loft yet. the plan is to train them to 70 miles this year and then let them have a good moult. i will train them again early next year and allow them to race the first 5 or so old bird races next year up to 260 miles, and then stop them and race the team i am racing in this years yb races the rest of the program. i have no idea whether its going to work but must admit that babies bred during the summer months and kept on natural just look so much healtheir than the early bred youngsters. so in short these late breds will have their yb races next year as yearlings and then will race the full program as two year olds for the first time.
