    TRAINING?

Do you loft fly daily and how many tosses would you normally give prior to the April 11th race?

    TRAINING?

How long before your first races, what distance and what is the weather like there now?
  4. Good reminder to me. Sorry and thanks.
  5. When I discover birds that do well for me I won't care a bit how they look or what blood runs through their veins. I'm new at this but will have two criteria, health and performance.
  6. Are they healthy?
  7. I use one drop of iodine in the water twice a week, a capful of ACV in a 1/2 gallon of water twice a week and Red Cell Vitamin with probiotic in the water once a week. Although the birds look healthy, I'd still like to find an avian vet to check droppings to get a true read on how well they are doing cocci and worm wise.
  8. I know a girl with two nipples an each chi chi and a guy with six fingers on a hand so I'd say its possible.
  9. If you see him let him know he's got plenty for one of mine and I'll throw in a second for free.
  10. Lucky hen eh! braggers!
  11. I read somewhere recently vaseline on your little finger, be sure to cut the nail.

The birds view from the loft. Mt. Adams.
  13. Hey Rasbull, I started last year with a dozen youngsters weaned first week of July. Trained them out to 70 miles. No losses. Lost two in the fall loft flying to hawks. Good moult, the only problem I've had is they were a little slow to pair up and breed this year, I attribute this to youth and cold weather. I'll probably race these ten out to 300 miles and send them to all distances next year.
