i agree with some of the replies ive been in the sport more than 40 odd years still learning things yet and ive had a lot lot lot of VERY BAD days so think about what your doing dont listen to the likes of tskyes to me if smarties were brains he wouldnt have enough to fill the tube very small ones at that so please think again

i know this thread was about breed @wean for ybs but what type of feed do they give on return from race ie a good protein food etc and supplements look foreward to replies

returns not bad 24 home out of 28 from witton castle trap was good but the time is another thing thought i had a good 1but not at the races

i agree with what mickb bewted say as far as ybs training goes i would try and keep them to the line of flight if possible obs if its a bit windy i like them to fly against it if poss

hi had same problem with a few of the stock pairs my friend sugested a couple of things it mite be like too much water and too much grit when feeding y.bs so i cut down the water and grit intake also gave them fural for few days and that did the trick hope this will help your prob

instead of painting the inside why dont you think about creosoting it that will also help to deter the creepie crawlies also i think it gives out a good smell in your loft

short / middle i have j v d bosche v de beele distnce birds roy seaton dave delea john puddephat had the v d bosche a while now and they have been scoring consistantly first year trying the beeles y bs the distant birds wont know results of these for another year or 2 but cant go against short / middle birds how they have been performing
