I would like to inform my friends here on Basics of my decision to give up the birds, after 20 years in the sport. There are a few contributing factors that made me come to this decision, last year I planned to give up the birds but decided to give it another year, to see if i could once again get the enthusiasm and excitement I once had when around the birds. Unfortunately this has not happened. My work also has changed and makes it difficult to give the birds the attention they require. I plan to let the non stock birds go from now, and hope to sell the stock birds later in the year once they are through the moult. My lofts will remain in situ for the foreseeable future, however all other equipment will be offered here on Basics for sale when I get time to take some photos and put them up on the site. I still intend to be an active member here on Pigeon Basics. I hope this now clears up any rumours that have been going around, some of which may be my fault, due to the time I have taken to come to this decision, which was not taken lightly. Thank You Brian Herd
