    I,ve witnessed at first hand the dreadful damage carrion crows can do to a loft, killing pigeons and even going into the loft and taking youngsters out of their nest bowls, images of birds on windows attempting to escape the crows, :-/

  10. Have to agree with all previous posts, masks should be worn, but like most fanciers I ignore this, however I wonder what our neighbours would think if they saw us wearing masks each time we enter our lofts, bad enough some people call our birds, flying rats :-/

    Darkness

    When do forum members who follow the darkness system with their youngsters, take them off it ? I have heard fanciers say 1st June, and others say the longest day, which is nearer the end of June :-/
  19. that was the price I was quoted for 2 youngsters, however the source I was getting the birds from, had a further 4 coming upto Scotland, so I took delivery of all 6, and the other lad and myself are sharing the cost I will be meeting with him 2moro night at a pickup point to deliver his youngsters.
