  1. Thanks guys for all your comments........I'll make sure to pass them onto dad. Even more pleasing, the hen that was first over the pad has won 7th, 9th, 3rd Fed the past three weeks and who knows this week.......hopefully make the top 10..........not bad for a yearling. Willie Donachie's bloodlines........again!!!!!
  2. Cheers guys, we are both (Eric & Colin) chuffed to bits It was really pleasing last night when Dad got the phone call confirming the result. Just as Jim says, even more special that our recent Fed winner is the dam to Peter's Fed winner the week before. Absolutely delighted!!!! I have to mention that the dam of my Fed winner was bred by none other than our very own Willie Donachie. How many prize winners is that now Willie that I've bred from your bloodlines? Thanks again mate As we all know, we'll enjoy the moment because it never lasts long in pigeon racing.......up one week down the next
  3. Cheers Willie, but I must add that the g/dam was bred by your good self. They seem to top Feds where ever they go, so a big thanks to you. Colin
  4. Well done Peter, great flying. Two Fed toppers in four races for you and both bred at Norton View Lofts Plenty more where they came from mate
  5. Sour Grapes!! now now that's enough.......don't want to go there I know it's a points system but surely the fancier with the most points at the end of the season is crowned 'Fancier of the Year'? Does the 20 points stand for National racing as well? Was the 'points' breakdown for last season ever published??? I've better things to do with my time that attend Fed meetings, anyway, our Club has a delegate that feedbacks any changes.
  6. Here's a guy that tops the Federation for fun whether it be old or young birds, but can't get fancier of the year.......because he doesn't fly the channel......been there myself not too long ago. Or perhaps he's in the wrong club........oops, did I say that out loud? lol And, he only keeps a small team of birds, no mob flying here, which shows how good a fancier he is. Well done Henry.......again!!!!! Maybe one day mate
  7. Are there any fantail breeders in Central Scotland?
  8. Thanks....will have a look
  9. I'm looking for a pair of white fantails for my boys........ideally located Central Scotland. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Colin.
  10. Nae idea, and I'm a member
  11. So why would the ever present 'fancier of the year' not donate a youngster???? Mmmmmmm Certainly a good list of 'quality' fanciers but would like to have seen more Federation fanciers being asked.....only 12 listed. Then again you have a fancier that has accumulated nearly 100 top 20 Federation prizes in the last four seasons, topping the Fed on numerous occasions, wasn't even asked..........say no more!!
