not having a go at your spelling,but,its spelt spangle !

spangle racing pigeon was an old strain pigeon from years ago,,,,but,,,can also be a name for a certain colour pigeon ! hope that helps a little to an answer,but,not exactly sure what colour it is on the pigeon in reality !
