they can be poisonous to the system if overfed i would presume,as they put a lot of fat on pigeons if fed ad lib,,,,,,,,,,but,used as a treat or for trapping or both ,,,,they are good !!!!!! wild birds love peanuts,,so,,if the case poisonous to a pigeons system,,,,what happens to wild birds !!!! food for thought !!! more a matter of feeding sensibly ,,thats all !!!!

no,they love them,but,too much can put too much weight on them,,,,use as a treat and putting little extra weight for flying long distance basically !!!
