at a guess;it could have had a knock sometime in its past while growing that feather !!! or something like it,maybe missed meals for a few days !!! do you own the bird or some one elses bird ?

best advice is to keep them seperate for your dove release part,,,,but,for looking at them in the garden,cross what you like if your pleased with them,just exercise them seperate groups !!!!
