Old birds all done in October and Ybs are done in April when all weaned. SL

1/4 tablet day 1, skip a day and give another 1/4 day 3. Same treatment old birds and young birds. I give 1/2 tablet day 1 and thats it done, no side effects at all but i must stress this is my preferred way of doing it. SL

I like to train mine in a 20 mile circle of my lofts a few times during the season, North South East and West. Does them no harm at all. They are well trained on the line of flight first though. I prefer to do it this way as it makes the birds think, and when its done they are up in kits of 5 - 6 birds, no big batch. SL

I will be giving the widowhood cocks a bath and exercise on Sat before the Ybs go out. Widowhood hens will go out Sunday and again Ybs after them. As always lofts will be scraped and sanitised. Weekends for me are all about the birds and i look foward to them. SL

The birds look the part mate. Ybs look superbly reared, well done they will get a good start. SL

I had this also, give them time they will lay, possibly when it gets a little warmer. SL

Great job Greenlands - I prefer to have plenty of air (not drafts) This year i have also changed the ventilation in the Yb loft. I covered the floor with 3mm aluminium perferated sheet - 5mm holes Hundreds of them and i drilled every one of them through the floor so now the air comes under loft through floor and out the new chimneys. Also helps cleaning, done in minutes. SL
