35 weaned over at present - I can only house 60 and the rest are all in the nest now, most are going over tonight.

Not a bad thing, 3 and 4 are nestmates and are of one of my best hens - well picked

We fly in Lurgan mate. One of my Opals won Penzance a couple of years back flying 10 hours. They do hard days as well as sprint. Thanks for all the nice comments guys. SL

I will have from next 10 - 12 days onwards some beatuful Wildermeersch Ybs for sale. These will be bred from my stock birds only and will be quality reared. Photographs at this point do not do them justice but i may post them up when they are near ready for weaning. Prices are all £40 each and i will offer the buyers a money back guarantee if they are not satisfied when they recieve them. Mine have black minerals all the time. Never had a problem with wet droppings aroung the bowls or ybs getting fed too much water. SL

Never give grit when medicating. Also i give bottled water when medicating.

Do not cut or pull feathers. Use soap and from the bottom to the top of each flight rub in the soap always in one stroke. When each flights become stuck to the quill the bird cannot fly. This method will not damage the flights and when the bird is settled give it a couple of baths and the soap will come out. I use washing up liquid, it is the best. SL
