Totally agree Stuart, I started with 15 cocks and have 13 left,dropped 2 last week 1 from the Classic and 1 from the club. Sent 4 to the BBC Ingleton National and got all 4 even with a gale force west wind at the home end. Cheers Richard

Four from eight clocks opened in the Isle of Wight clock station, with eight pigeons in total timed in. I took 1st and 3rd in the clock station doing 1227 and 1171. I sent 4 and the other 2 were here very early this morning. The wind here all day Saturday was gale force west to south west.

Hi Yes there is a lib site at Chale on the Island, good site adjacent to the Channel. The MNFC have used this site last year. The Solent is no substitute for the Channel though! Cheers Richard Newtown Isle of Wight

Hi Speckled I knew that the Solent Fed had come up with an alternative program, but I didn't realise that at this early stage they had decided to implement it. Is that correct? I hope not as it doecn't seem to be much of a program to me, especially with the alleged serious peregrine problem in the West Country. Personally I would rather turn North than West. Any thoughts? Rose, why do you think that the French will ban racing until June 7th? Cheers Richard

Hi Yes I went in 2004 and bought 8 youngsters, 1 of them went on to win a couple of club races as a youngster, then in 2005 he won 22nd Sect 24th Open St Malo CSCFC 4438 birds and 57th Sect 101st Open CSCFC Cholet 2659 birds. I stopped him then and I have got high hopes for him this year. Its a good weekend trip but a hell of a long time on a coach. Might go again this year with some mates, but take a car. Cheers Richard
