Can someone tell me how long the incubation period is.and also how old are the birds before you take them from there mother??and how long before you can let them out to fly about?

How many training tosses in a week and what sort of distance

how do you train your birds for 600 odd mile race's

they look great.

I got them from a mate but the were a bit of a mess so i gave them a little rub down. then painted them with emulsion.

I know you have seen it all before. But its my first time breeding pigeons and am quite chuffed with the out come so far. Here's a few pics. Hope this pair will soon be on eggs

I was told the natural breeding system was when you put the cocks and hens in together and just let them pair up themselves.

How many of you folks breed on the natural system. and produce winners. Your views would be good.

How many of your wifes or partners like your pigeons?

I am just starting out i have 12 cocks and 6 hens.i was needing another 6 hens to pair up with my 6 cocks. I wont be killing any of them. I have been sorted out with 6 Jan Aarden hens from a kind gentleman on here.

I was out on friday with the lads from my pigeon club. And one of them said he has eating some of his pigeons. Found that abit strange. Have any of you guys eating yours?
