  5. I think the worst fed race i can remember is when the w.n.r transporter caught fire on the motorway spreading through the wicker baskets like nowbodys buisness; this wiped out most lofts in wales as thay didnt have a chance, combine-national-fed and club winners gone in 1 foul swoop.
  6. but well worth the investment , top quality sprinters
  7. perfiectly helthy a credit to u. filling up with oxygen will stop when there on young and the crop gets larger
  8. DISCUSTING
  9. fancy try to squeeze another one out of me :K) :K) :K) :K) better luck next time see u soon
  10. yes maybe only the fancer can confirm this. because jumpin for a bottle is not good practice
  11. yes i agree u must be 110% before u use these antibiotics and help your bird after treatment. How ever this looks unsightly in the loft so may be this fancer should put some milton in his drinker to help clear the dirty wattle untill he is sure of the problem
  12. If u can nail this and say it is respiratory 0.2mil injecton of lincospectin 1 day slepsonal 1dose the following day no more respiratory 2 day cure but u must be 100% sure to avoid furter bammage to your bird
  13. 20 30 is alot to spend if its not churning out winner after winner.i think i would have a shot at letting them rear if not successful time to part company( some times hard but the only way to be)
  14. I would go for slipping a furtile egg under them it will be just as qwick as taking them away. if your next pair are again empty u have a problem with the cock or hen
  15. thay do the trick just fine and much easier and cheaper than netting
  16. ok
  17. ya got it derby find out tommoro
  18. metal u must have supplier near u try pic tomorro can ask my local supplier if 1 by u (were about)
  19. on my last loft used 1tub creote mixed with old engine oil from local garage aplied when erected every year with roller and tray. wood was as good as new when dismantled. got one loft won in raffle in blackpool 22years ago treated same way put back up this summer that still like new
  20. I have started putting up new lofts at a new adress. been using security fencing 6ft hi 12ft long brand new £11+vat brand new. no wood no maintance look good cut with hacksaw tie wrap and drill n screw together. put a big flight up in 30 mins
  21. yes good if thay are the type you like .but dont condem them after one season keep going till u hit that winning gean because it will come out some were and if u have there parents u can put them our chidren of them in to their off spring it sounds complicated but line breeding gets very easy patient birds with the same genes but diferent in looks. I now bread 3-4 different colours from some pairs e.g blue cock, slatie cheq hen reds blues cheq slaties LT cheqs u can see some of these resemble g.parents but u still must let mr basket sort them out 4 u.
