use cut down cotton buds or matchsticks as splints and bind with tape (I used micropore tape) not too tight to allow for swelling - I suppose it depends where leg is broken
Its not the first choice of medication in birds or humans - in humans it is only given to those allergic to penicillin - as there are better medicines available
as IB said it's prescrioption only
