marine ply will last the longest,make shure you got enough support cos it is very heavy stuff. andrecrock

I used chicken layer pellets from start of season right thru the year.It was a 17% proteine one.All my young birds was in top con.The only thing i would say is,the droppings is a bit loose.I still use it and will keep on doing so,the only thing is i add a few peas,beans,barley and small seed as i need it. (This might be wrong,but it works for me) andrecrock

A friend told me(he might be wrong) because of gravity,pairing your birds or having eggs hatch on FULL moon is no good cause the gravity makes them a bit looney!!! andrecroc

I worked it out,if the new moon is on the 27.and i give 10 days for pairing and laying the 1st egg,that leaves me with the 17th.i might be wrong... andrecrock

This was my first year at the sport,i ended the season with 12 young cocks and only 9 hens.I want to fly 8 cocks widowhood and 4 natural.4 of the hens would go natural and that leafes me with 3 hens short for the widowhood cocks.
