I which the law would change conserning crimes like these,that is wat it is A CRIME!!!!!!!! No mater wat age,if you are old enough to give it you should be old enough to take it.We live in a society were those to boys will get a slap on the hand,asbo, 5 hours community service and the too that got atacked has to live with scars for the rest of there lives.It pucking wrong man!!!!!!To many "human rights" if you ask me.I know we dont live in the bibel time any more but by God if we did...........there would be justice........

On Thursday a fellow fancier phoned me up to tell me one of his best yearling hens, has died after a sparrow hawk done Wat they do best.He goes on to tell me,he placed the carcase in his "trap"(bunny)(bunny)(bunny) and set it on its lightest trip setting just to found a hour later that the carcase was half eaten but no " (bunny)".After setting it again he had his tee just to come back and found the exact thing had happened but this time the trap door got jammed and the " (bunny)" managed to escape again.Around 4 in the afternoon i went round to help him fix the trap and try our luck a third time.I managed to put bungee straps on the trap door just to give it that extra closing speed and tightness.This morning i went round his place for a quick nosey and to my surprise.........The pigeon carcase was eaten right up with only legs to be found.....and amongst the bits of pigeon we found "(bunny)" claws?The trap was set of and there was a big hole on the bottom were something had entered and escaped,after following the feather trail we discovered that a badger has been the one that done the duty of relieving us from the nasty "(bunny)" that took Wat wasn't for him to take.No decant animals was harmed in this story...

Hi everyone, I'm trying to follow Mark Caudwell's widowhood system.He suggests you train your birds in a straight line between your loft and first race point starting at 4 mile going to 12.I have always thought ,pigeons fly in a arc home and very rarely in a straight line.Is this a good idea training in a straight line or should i train 180' degrees to the first race point.Just to ad my birds are all yearlings and they all completed the y/b season.Thanks

I dont want to go much over 300 miles,if there is a few thats not performing i might sed them 350ml.

Hi guys!! My plans with the widowers has gone a bit ..........I have just weaned my last of the 1st round y/b of the widowers.As most of you my first race will be on the 11Th of April.If i put the hens back now as i have done today,I'm gone have to wait 7-10 days for eggs to appear.Another 7 days to take the eggs away.That's 17 days from today,leaving me with only 10 days to get my yearlings in shape and use to the system.Is that enough time and how do i go about training?

My loft, well ventelated .... Widowhood is 8x6 housing 8 pair. Stock 8x8 housing 8 pair with 4x8 avaire. Widowhood hens 4x4 housing 16 hens with 2x2x2 avaire. Young birds 8x6 housing 45 with 3x2x2 avaire. My birds are healthy and i feel healthy moving in the loft.

Very very sad,feels like strangling the animals to death but i don't blame the dogs.....I kept bullmastiffs ,rottweilers and jack russells in south Africa as guard dogs.You can train them as much you want THERE IS ALWAYS THE CHANSE OF THEM TURNING ON YOU.I Feel for the parents,but i think humans is to blame...Babies is defenseless and because the dog stands taller than the baby he feels like he is in control and as we all know,it don't take much to agitate a terrier.

I wish i had the opportunity to let my birds out in the winter.My problem is our land is part of the local shoot. 8)

I'm South African so its difficult to choose.Must say Ireland played a very good game today.I voted England.............they need some support.......Wales has got a hell of a chance as well.

We got a mobile antenna(mas)station which is on line of flight,its about 10ml away from me and i train from there,made a big difference on my y/b..

My wife calls me sad sitting on the comp!!!!!but i feel at home amongst my fellow Pb members!!!!

I agree,over feed them on all the smaller seeds 2 or 3 days and then back on normal feed.They might settel down,i see this alot with my hens which i starve on sundays.On monday's a feed them smaller seeds first and then top them up with full mix.Dont forget grit and minerals....Hope this helps.
