  1. What the user guide doesn't say is that the marker base will default to flashing green and red lights after a period of time, in which case you will get a message that you need to 'set manually or use current time' because the time signal hasn't been connected. You will then need to disconnect and start again.
  2. 5/6 from Berwick 1/2 hr behind at least, 9/12 from Fougeres well spaced out from an 11.30 lib.
  3. Solent Fed up at 11.30 N wind from Fougeres
  4. Weather still poor at Fougeres (10.30)for the Solent Fed, next update 12.00
  5. Solent Fed at Fougeres next update 10.30 due to Cloud and Rain at racepoint. http://www.sat24.com/
  6. Southampton & Dist NR Fed libbed at 8.30 in a strong NW wind from Berwick
  7. Just come back from Southsea Common (Portsmouth) watching the libs, Northampton RPC, Cumbria Fed and Norfolk and Suffolk, all cleared well into blue skies into a chilly Northerly wind. Will post some photos later.
  8. Here in Portsmouth a great start to the day after heavy overnight rain, cloudless blue sky with very little wind. Just going down to the Common to see what's being liberated.
  9. The Spinnaker Web Cam is off air at the moment. What time are you looking to Lib, I'll pop down there and take a look.
  10. I've sent 12 WH Cocks to Fougeres 170mls (Solent Fed), and 4 nat Cocks + 2 WH hens to Berwick 350mls (Southampton & Dist NR Fed)
  11. Sent 12 WH cocks to Carentan and 14 WH hens to Derby, Left a cock & hen at home to keep whoever comes first happy.
  12. I had a pigeon once which was half mealy and half blue bar, the colour was evenly split down the middle of his back with one wing blue and the other mealy, I called him the Mealy Bar. I was told he was a mosaic.
  13. Solent Fed up at Messac: 07:55 : Good Morning! The birds at Messac were liberated at 07:30 into brilliant sunshine, with no wind on site and a light variable wind expected in the channel.
  14. Down here in Portsmouth, lovely blue sky, almost calm, plenty of vapour trails. The Southampton Fed have liberated at Ripon at 6.30, is your weather spread throughout Yorkshire.
  15. Southampton & Dist NR Fed have liberated: LIBERATION NRWS FROM RIPON 05.06.10 by SALLYO on Sat Jun 05, 2010 5:40 am MORNING EVERYONE BIRDS WERE LIBERATED FROM RIPON AT 6.30AM INTO A VERY LIGHT SOUTH WEST WIND
  16. NFC have liberated at Messac. 'Hello, its Saturday 5th June, The birds at Messac have been liberated at 7.00 hrs in a light South East wind and cleared immediately'
  17. I bought a basic 12'X6' stock loft two years ago and customised it to suit my needs. They are built to a high standard and the floor is robust, an all round solid loft. My only criticism is the Onduline roof needs more support spars than supplied and it gets very hot on sunny days so I insulated mine with rigid cavity wall insulation.
  18. My oldest racer is a young-looking 2001 Dark Chequer Cock which I have put on the North this year, he had ten races last year up to Bordeaux and this year he has had four races up to Wetherby 217mls. I wouldn't say he's the fastest but he's never been last to the loft this year, kept him mainly for his looks (has won in the Club shows) He's had 60 races, 36 across the Channel (bearing in mind my loft location, our shortest Channel race is Picauville 100mls.)
  19. 4/4 from Rotherham, but a bit of a personal disaster from Fougeres 4/8 and at least 20mins off the pace.
  20. Solent Fed away at 11.00 Fougeres NNW wind. Broken cloud and sun here in Pompey with a fresh NW blowing. Got 3/4 from Rotherham so far.
  21. Southampton & Dist NR Fed libbed 8.0am fresh NW wind at Rotherham
  22. Solent Fed held at Fougeres, CSCFC held at Poitiers
  23. Two comeback races for me, Fougeres with the Solent 170mls and Rotherham with the Southampton NR Fed 182mls.
  24. I was missing two on Sat night, both returned early Sun morning. All the race birds went for the drinker on the Sat but I would have expected that with 6hrs+ on the wing in that weather.
  25. 10/11 from Messac 5hrs 45mins 208mls, just glad to see them, it was looking bad at one stage, thought the first one was late then waited 40mins for another but then had a bit of a flurry. (7 in 30mins) 4/5 from Wetherby 4hrs 40mins 217 mls, a bit off the pace in this one, but once again pleased at the returns.
