used to do it all the time when i first started mate, And always reported them, Got mixed reactions, but did pick up an old 1 once, cant remember exact details mate, but had won at least twice, and had been living in the town for 2 years, the guy had him came and collected him!!! Dont do it anymore, got some strange looks, even a woman told me to stop stealing pigeons!!! lol. onced i had explained she was o.k. But dont fetch them into your own loft mate, As you dont know what they might be carrying, or how long they been there, But if your adamant keep it seperated, and get it tested, and treated accordingly, You never know what might become

Glad you have not had a bird taken, I kept mine in for 6 weeks, and had 1 taken within 10 mins of them being out. you must just not have many round you, I am plagued by them. They sit on the telegraph pole most days waiting for me!!! My loft is out in the sticks a bit.

donr know how far you are awy from lenwadebob? But he is a top man, and im sure he wont mind me saying pm him. He will tell you straight what to do with your 2 birds if you are interested in racing pigeons And will give you some sound advise :-)

Hi mate, the simple answer is no dont keep it, most probably a streeter. If your after some birds i will help you out later in the year, whats your plans with them? And is the bird you have got a cock or hen? Are they proper racers? All the best Pete
