You need control over the ybs mate, or they will get into the habit of going on the house roof, and will always do it then, mine only get fed once a day at the moment at night, all they want till 3 or 4 go for a drink, they are on peas and beans at the moment, so dont fly much, which im glad of, as havent got the time for them at the moment, but will get the mix lightened up this weekend, to help them fly better, but still need lots of protein, as mine are dropping to bits at the moment (darkness) But they are doing as there told now, as soon as i step in thatc loft there after me!!! all the best with them mate.

Yes could be due to lay, or may have taken a knock, and got brusing you cant see, and just a bit soor, give her a soak in some warm water, will help if either of those 2, You could damage your leg or arm, but wont always be visable hope shes o.k. give her a day or 2 in box with plenty grit etc, see how she goes. all the best.

aint been quiet round here phil!!! seem to more active than eva, think territories gone bang out of the window, as i had 3 last night, all came from different directions, 1 was just passing, 2 were hunting! flew straight through trees, and bang!! ybs all over the place, started with 23, got 17 now, and there not even flying, wont come out of the loft, how can i expect them to win races?? would you rush home, if there was a hungry lion waiting in your garden?? i think not, obs are that used to sparrowhawk now they sit on stables not 10ft apart, but on race day im 3/4 mins behind, as they in no rush to go in when they get there, fly round a few laps first, to see whats about.

Keep your chin up mate, i know how tuff it is, this is my 5th year, and im still trying to build my team up, always mostly yearlings!! but the older ones i keep, i know can handle a bit of pressure, :-) but yes when you get a good result which is prob once or twice a year for me. its a great buzz, but mainly the competition between my son and myself, is what does it for me on a saturday

there is 1 lad who is 24 me at 34, and hopefully if he carries on as keen as he is my son will be flying under his own name next year, he is 11, He is racing latebreds this year, :-) He is keener than me at the moment, Im sick of the damn hawks at present

19 out of 19 for us, all back within hour, apart from 1, (late evening) 114 miles mangotsfield. About 4 mins behind winner again, but clocked 6 within 3 and half mins, so was happy how they come :-)

114 miles for us, swainswick, sneding all that havent got holes in them, from the hawks!! erm 14 of mine six of my sons latebreds, He was 4th and 5th club last week, beat me by near on 5 mins!! 2 roland jansens, first bred by black w/f and 2nd bred by david hamiliton, dont think the latebreds will have it so easy this week, but hey ho off they go :-) all th ebest to everyone :-)
