Just looked and designed the T-shirts and they can put pigeonbasics.com on them no trouble.
-
If and when I get the shirts sorted out, I would be willing to put Pigeonbasics.com on the front of them thus promoting this site that has aided me in filling the spaces in the syndicate. Its a great site and if it attracts just one more user then it will worth it! Free of charge of course!!

Having set up Rasbull Lofts syndicate and having now filled the spaces with 9 people and 12 shares, I am now after a sponsor for the Rasbull Lofts syndicate which will be entering the Europa Classic 2010. We will have 3 syndicates in total with 9 birds in the race. The money would be used to purchase polo shirts for the shareholders which would be worn by those attending the hotspots and also on the final race. I will place the companies banner on the website on the main page and also the share syndicate page of my website. My site is having increased numbers of visitors each day and had a record number of hits since the syndicate was launched a few days ago. I will also place the companies logo/name on the back of the shirts which are to be purchased, and guarantee that 4 shirts will be worn on the final race by share holders attending. A lot of people attend the final race between 300 and 800 people who are mostly pigeon fanciers so a great way to promote your business. (If pigeon related) I would like to think all 9 people involved in the syndicate would attend the final to see there birds cross the finish line but cant promise that. So the guarantee is for 4 in attendance which could rise to 9! If anyone would like to be involved then please pm me. Richard Shepherd www.Rasbull-lofts.co.uk

Looking for 2 or 3 more people to join in, currently have 8 people involved. Just to make it clear, there will be 4 or 5 syndicates, they will be called Rasbull-lofts.co.uk 1, Rasbull-lofts.co.uk 2, 3, 4 and 5. You will be allocated a syndicate number with 3 other people, one of which will be myself. We will all pay £50 to enter the activated bird (£200). The syndicate will have 3 birds, 1 activated and 2 reserves. The £50 entitles you to a quarter share in the activated bird only. The other two birds are reserve birds and will be allowed to replace the activated bird should it get lost prior to the 1st hotspot race. Should the activated bird not get lost, and both the reserve birds are still in the loft as well, we can choose to activate these also anytime. They cost £100 each to activate and again (optional to all 4 members of the syndicate) If all 4 should wish to do so that would be £100 x 2 split 4 ways = £50 each. Then all 4 members would have a 1/4 share in all 3 birds. Should only 2 members choose to activate the reserve birds then it is £100 x 2 split 2 ways = £100 each. Then 4 members would have a 1/4 share in the main bird, and the two members would have a 50% stake in the two other birds which only they chose to activate. Any winnings by the 2 reserve birds would only be payable to the 2 members who paid for them. Equally, if another of the syndicates won prize money, only the 4 members of that syndicate would be entitled to any prize money. I hope this is clear and easy to understand. All prize money is dependant on how many birds are entered. But last year £21,000 was the 1st prize with 1,203 entries, 2nd was £4,500 and 3rd was £3,000. These amounts would be split 4 ways. The anticipated prize money if the loft is full is 1st £30,000, 2nd 15,000, 3rd 10,000. The final race is the 29th August 2010 and will be from Hexham, 250 miles to the loft. There are 5 'hotspot races' as well with £500 1st prize for the 1st four 'hotspot' races, and £3,000 1st prize for the final 'hotspot' (based on full loft) and there will also be a new car for the ACE pigeon. (Pigeon with the lowest flying time in all 5 'hotspots' and main race. This pigeon has to be activated prior to the 1st hotspot in order to qualify for the prize! If you know of anyone else who might like to join then please ask them to get in touch. I look forward to welcoming you on board this venture Richard Shepherd http://www.Rasbull-lofts.co.uk

Agreed mate, but this way people can be involved for a lot less money and even people who have no birds so attracting new people into the pigeon world who otherwise wouldn't even look at us. Its a small fee, a decent amount of potential winnings and a bit of fun and interest throughout the summer. Plus a good day at the final race getting drunk! ;) :)

I now have 8 shares sold. I am wanting to enter 4/5 syndicates if possible so looking for another 4 or 5 people to come in on this. If interested please get in touch. Cheers

Cheers Adam, welcome aboard!

Cheers Gagums, tell Ron they are looking superb and a credit to him mate. Ricorico, you are more than welcome mate. I have had several pms/e-mails but the more the merrier. Feel free to join our syndicate mate, no problem at all.

Cheers for your comments guys.

Hiya Andy, yes mate still in the loft, bred my first pigeon in the final last year. Managed to break him in so hoping to race him this season.
-
Hiya mate, each syndicate has 3 pigeons of which only 1 is activated. Each of the four syndicate members will have a 1/4 share in this bird, if this bird is lost prior to the first hotspot it is replaced free of charge with one of the two reserves. If no birds are lost prior to the first hotspot the syndicate members then have the option to activate the other two birds. This is entirely upto the members of the syndicate, and the price will depend on how many syndicate members choose to. Hope this helps, any further questions please get in touch.

I restarted in pigeons last year and raced last season, entering the Europa Classic for the first time and getting all 3 entries to the final race. Not being happy with that I sought about obtaining new stock. I attended the auction of the birds that made the Europa Classic final race from 250 miles and purchased 12 pigeons that were all in the top 50 of the Ace Bird standing prior to the last race. I purchased the 9th Ace Pigeon and 17th Ace pigeon who were nestmates, both finishing 24th Open and 29th Open in the final race itself. My aim is to pair these up and re-enter the Europa Classic for another bash at the £20,000-£30,000 first prize. I have set up a share syndicate for anyone who is interested in entering. I have limited it to 4 shares per syndicate as to not water down the prize money. The initial fee for a share is £50. The option is then up to the individual syndicate members if they wish to purchase any reserve birds for the final race etc that may still be in the loft. But if not, the most you will pay for a 1/4 share in the syndicate is £50! Not bad with the amount of money that is an offer and the amount of interest and fun you will get from the race over the summer months. For instance:- If the loft is full at 3,000 birds the first prize will be £30,000. 4 people to a share = £7,500 each. If the loft is only 1/3 full then the prize money will be 10,000 (although they boost the 1st prize if this is the case, last year was £21,000) again still £5,250 each for each share held) Plus if it is only 1/3 full that means there are less birds to beat! :-) Either way not bad for £50!!! I will having at least 1 Share in every syndicate which I will be paying for myself, so its not a case of other people paying for my entries, it purely is a syndicate with equally paid up members, for a chance of winning some serious cash. I have today received an email from Mike Cooney (Last years winner of the race and around £30,000 after all prize money added) saying that he shares the same vision as myself regarding performance young birds being paired together and re-entering them in the One Loft races and that if available he is willing to come into shares for this seasons coming Europa Classic. I am hoping to get as many people who are interested as possible to participate with this venture and hope the birds take some stopping coming the final race! My aim to allow as many people to enter and participate at a price that is affordable. For more details / information please see my website www.Rasbull-lofts.co.uk (follow link for the share syndicate)

Hi, Yeah I am still in m8. Didnt have any PM though? :-/
-
My first tip would be Quality, not Quantity. My second would be weed out any weaklings at the first sign they are lacking something!
-
Some nice birds Paul. I like 5 and 7, would make a lovely pair!
-
what is the name of the product that treats for all 3 m8?
-
Will be entering 1 team in the South West and hopefully will have 2 teams in the Europa.
-
Think I should have included a more up to date photo from my night out last week! May have got me more votes! ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
I think if this was a horse race, I would have been pulled up by now! ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
I have bought in 14 new birds, 12 birds from the top 50 of the Europa Classic prior to the last race including 9th and 17th ACE birds (nestpair), 7th Open SWOL and a full sister to this cock.
-
Have booked a team in for the Swol race and hope to enter 2 teams into the Europa. Entered the Europa last year and had all 3 of my entries make it to the final race. I hope to do better this time round though! ;-)

To race competively, to get the birds to the furthest race, to be in the mix most weeks, to breed a healthy round of youngsters that do the loft justice. But my main aim will be to do well in the Nationals (will be my first time trying). Also my entries to get to the final of the SWOL and Europa Classic One loft races and to obtain a higher finish than they achieved last year.
