I would definitely put something for the birds to rest on so they are off the floor. I would probably go a couple of wooden rails at different heights.

I use the East Coast Software, top piece of kit and well worth investing in. Works a treat. Takes a bit of time to input all the data of birds you have but once done, does everything for you. Wouldn't be without it now!

I have had the same problem with 2 cock this season. I have sets of 4 nest boxes. The one cock is on the top of one set and controls the 3 directly below him. I have had to box off the 2 below him and just let one pair have the bottom set. The other cock is my main problem. He also has the top box and also controls the 2 boxes directly below him. I have 2 pairs in these and he is forever chucking them out. The other 2 cocks will not stand up to him either. I have locked the 2 hens in their boxes and hopefully he will get bored and the two cocks start to fight for their box a little. Both these hens are due to lay any day now, so can see lots of problems and smashes occuring in these boxes. I am hoping he will settle down as his own hen is due to lay her 2nd egg tonight so hopefully with him sitting the eggs the problem will be reduced just a little.

I have a pair of red kites which fly directly above my garden most days, sometimes really low. Beautiful birds to look at in the air. I live at the foot of the Brecon Beacons, and Pen Y Fan is clearly visable from my garden. However, despite where I live, have only ever had 1 weeks worth of problems with a sparrowhawk. Guess I should keep my fingers crossed it stays that way! ;-)

Here are the shirts I am having for the final race. The space on the back at the top is available for a logo/banner etc. Also on the front the writing on the side will be replaced with a sponsor and also a banner/logo can be placed on the other side of the chest area. Hope you like!
