I purchased 2 of his 3 entries in last years Europa Classic 1 of the birds was 69th out of 1104 birds from 60 miles, 9th out of 1020 birds from 100 miles, 48th out of 815 birds from 160 miles and 86th out of 754 birds from 250 miles. 4 times in the top 86 out of 6 race series! This bird finished 34th ACE bird out of the 1203 birds entered. The other bird was 6th out of 1104 birds from 60 miles, 22nd out of 1020 birds from 100 miles, 15th out of 815 birds from 160 miles. 3 times in the top 22 from a 6 race series is very impressive! 1 is a Willy Jacobs pigeon and the other is Koopman.

Varies, usually finish work at 2.30pm. Very rarely do I go into them before work at 7am. Let the race birds out around 4ish. Clean the lofts through. Get them in about 5pm. See to the youngsters then and potter about doing odd jobs in the loft, feed them all about 6ish. Back and forth throughout the evening until it gets dark.

Yeah mine doing around the 45-60 minute mark! Very pleased with the effort they are putting in around the loft.

Thanks for the support Lenwadebob. I have 60 members so far on the Facebook page, and believe it or not the majority I would say or not even pigeon fanciers! We need to help ourselves guys! I have just emailed those 60 members and requested they find the worst picture they can on the page so far and repost so all their friends get to see the picture on their computers! If all do, that will be an average of 4,200 members of the public that will see the same awful picture and may just have their eyes opened!! How else are we going to get them to see? And if WE ALL dont support each other how is pigeon racing continue and the songbird plight going to correct itself?? I have set this up and now need each and everyones support! I have a promise from Les Parkinson that he will include the site in his article in the 1st week of April so that will get the BHW readers aware of the group. But this group can only work if WE as pigeon fanciers and bird lovers make it work! No-one is going to help us.....we have to help ourselves. Hi Robbie, will sort a link out for clubs tomorrow and put on the site to be downloaded. I have tonight sent off a letter to the following newspapers:- The Daily Mail, The Sun, The Mirror, The Telegraph, The Indepedant so any replies I get will put on the Facebook Action page. Tonight I am going to be emailing my letter to all National News papers, so please keep your eyes peeled in the press over the next few days as I cant afford to buy every newspaper! ;D ;D The letter was printed in the Daily Mail, so the chances of something appearing in there are quite high I would suggest! I will also be emailing the BHW and the Racing pigeon asking if an advert can be placed in them asking for people who suffer attacks to join the Facebook Action page and post there pictures. I have no idea if they will agree to this, but it is for the benefit of the sport as a whole. Got home from work expecting to see a load more joined up to the Facebook Action page and to my disappointment just another 8? Cheers for your support guys to those of you who have joined but the best way to promote this is to join the Facebook Action site and place your views on there yourselves. I have 31 members at present and they have an average of 70 friends on facebook then each time people post around 2,170 members of the public will also get that information displayed directly onto the facebook page when they log on? I mean how easy is that? Where else would we get 2,000 members of the public viewing pictures of hawk kills any where else? And that is just with 31 people signed up! Imagine if everyone setup an account - the potential to get our message across to thousands of people is huge. All it takes is for people to take 5 minutes to join the group! C'mon guys - we may not be able to change the law but raising awareness will go a hell of a long way to bringing the problem into the public domain where people who can make those decisions are able to see for themselves! With these averaging 70 friends for each time someone posts a picture thats 1,610 members of the public are having these photos stories displayed on there computers on a regular basis! Just imagine if every member on this site joined up! This is the only way we are going to get our message across - and whats more it doesnt cost anything other than 5 minutes of your time to join the group! I have sent a letter to the BHW and the Racing Pigeon highlighting what I am planning and hopefully this will appear in the papers next week. I am not sure the best way to go about contacting all the clubs? I know the more signatures we get the better but the best way to go about this? :-/ :-/

Laziness thats all m8! 'I dont get attacks, no my problem' is peoples attitudes! But thats up to them. I can only work with what I got! Its there, its set up and if people use it then it can only benefit everyone!

Thats what I will be doing. I put on the this thread a little earlier a response that has been sent to a letter that appeared in yesterdays Daily Mail. That is my aim to collect a dossier complete with 1,000 strong petition and submit to every editor, newsroom, tv programme, MP I can find an email address to!

Right I have set up the facebook group and have put various links to stories, pictures and information regarding the online petition and my plans. If you are a member of Facebook please join. If you are not you can still view the pages to see what it is all about. I hope you do all join. At least if nothing else we now have an area in the public domain that will be presented to the public. Whenever you post an article picture etc, it will be displayed to all your friends on facebook and hopefully a few of them will check on the site and then in turn pass it on to their friends! I can do no more, than I am doing. I now need people to support this site and paste pictures and stories on, rather than pasting them on here, when nobody other than us will read them!! No good mate, its something they have built in that can't be edited out. Makes no difference though, just close the page because the petition will already have been signed by the time this page displays.

Infact will try to edit it out of the settings. Will have a look in a bit! :-)
