Am not blaming anyone... I knew forecast was not great before I put in basket and Peter also stated Friday update birds could not be libbed until around lunch time as forecast was to clear then.. Also North east wind meant was going to be 6-6 1/2 hours for leader so knew that took us to 6.30pm and darkness was about 8pm made me well aware that a risk of nothing to my loft on night was a possibility and still decided to send. 220 miles to us and I'd say around 200 birds??

No birds that I know of sadly, fingers crossed some in morning lads

We have had 2 races this YB season with percy hitting birds as they come out transporter! If the percy does that then the YB will scatter and fly miles and miles of course N/S/E/W so... 1 race over for them before it starts and 2 you might never see a few again due to the miles they covered. As you say Walter more needs done... My race and show team wont be out again after this weekend but I'll have a select few out ALL winter. Bred to just do a job!!
