I took 3 tickets from my 5 birds at Blackpool this year and am delighted. Up against the best on offer from UK and Ireland I took 2nd in racing cocks TW and 4th & 7th with racing hens TW. So delighted with this. Close to getting a bird on the blackpool stage and my birds picture in the BHW but hopefully my time will come for that. Think training them from a place that you think the batches cross over is a good start. I train from a place where you first see pentland hills and believe that training from this point a few times a week helps as when they get to this point they could close there eyes and find home quickly
