Hey Dozzie -= don't apologise, you are doing a great job with this little pidge. And you haven't messed his race up at all....... if he didnt get home within a short time, he's not going to have won! ;D He's either got lost and too tired to continue or has hurt himself so he can't fly. Hopefully someone will help you to get him home now. Thank you for all your efforts. :)

A bit of hay in the cat basket would be ideal. If you just put your hands either side of him and hold his wings in (but don't squeeze him too tightly) he wont be able to flap. Dont dither - just go for it! :) BTW I am scared to death of horses after being bitten by one as a child.

If he's not roosting too high up, you should be able to pick him up soon - they don't fly in the dark.
