  18. i agree ian i checked the weather and never sent maybe its time we stopped the attitude towards others and started looking at ourselfs
  19. GREIG glad to see you have an idea just i think it is a non starter to many people trying to come to decsion would just cause chaos in my opinion
  20. anymore birds made it home today there was a good break in the weather here in lanrkshire this morning
  21. the controllers decide when the birds are let go not the convoyer the convoyer only tells him what the weather is like at the race point and by going with the pics that tammy posted the weather looked ok for a liberation before you slam people please think
  22. hope you get your reims pigeons chris i know jim hannah as you do he will be gutted there has been a bad race but i have never known him just to chuck pigeons up just for the sake of it he may have thought there was a break in the weather giving the birds enough time to get up the road it has been proved there was not enough of a break in the weather by the returns
  23. The fact is though, the Met Office got it bang on for Sunday, as I have already mentioned, I was elsewhere today, probably in the line of flight and it chucked it down so the met office got it right why did you send if you seen such a bad forecast did you gamble that there would be a break in the weather or were you thinking tuesday would be the best day for a liberation
  24. got to say chris fridays forecast can change by sunday would you not agree if you tell me what the weather is going to be like for wednesday in annan today it surely could change by wednesday
  25. your right me im not as old as you but why do fanciers wait until its a bad race why not shout about the liberation this morning only seen one post saying it was a poor choice to let them go thats all im saying so leading birds make it up the road that tells me the weather closed in very quickly stopping the one's behind from getting through someone in cumbria posted at lunch time hundreds of birds landing on roofs due to poor weather that had moved into that area can a controller be held accountable for that a weather front that moves quicker than the weathermen have said
