i had a poor old bird season 2nd place twice then all down hill until my young birds picked my chin right off the floor won three races and a couple more seconds my highlight was winning lanarkshire fed from hexham 1st west section 6th open3500 bird approx 1st lanarkshire social circle also won my first ever trophy's 5 in total i started with 29 young birds and was left with 22 i never timed a bird in the snfc i realise its a bit harder than i thought because when these long races come along your birds have got to be at there best and bred to work hard to get home so that is my aim to get a timer in the snfc and do better in the old birds

my story so far now listen carefully phoned coopers to pick up in devon call you back no call phoned back the next day we will call you back no call they contact the guy in devon we will collect wednesday no collection phone call from coopers to say they were 50 miles from me with my pigeons i called devon the birds were not collected called coopers the person that called me to say my birds were 50 miles away made a mistake but the birds were getting collected today (thursday) ;D the birds were collected the story will continue ....... i think they have been overwhelmed with the job of moving pigeons around the country as well as there normal jobs i only feel sorry for all the staff

the norbeck castle is quite a good hotel for youngsters it has a swimming pool,cinema,pool arcade games room plenty bars for your old man just make sure its clean as i have not stayed there for a couple of years but my son 8 years old and my nepew010 thought it was great and make sure you go to the big swimming pool think its called the sandcastle

vic maybe capello has drummed it into them they are not superstars but need to graft to get a win reckon your press might just bum them back up to superstar status so they can knock them off again there could be some tough times ahead for england with all these top europeans coming into the english premier but that was a great result to destroy croatia on there own ground

finally got to talk with a girl this afternoon she promised someone would call me back still no phone call and i don't know if the birds will be picked up tomorrow or not

just got a bird back well down in body but its home to fight another day

phoned cooper's yesterday for a pick up they said they would call me back yesterday afternoon i have tried several times to contact them today but the phone is engaged so i don't know if my birds are getting collected or not

maybe you should concentrate on your own business rather than rubbish your rivals as they say the cream comes to the top your company may well be the best but it is up to the fanciers to find out

on the saturday night we always head for a club trades club i think last year alf's mate gerry came up with the idea on the way home to try funny girls ??) i was sharing a room with him but slept with my back against the wall all night
