in our club we read one letter out with guy resigning proposed and seconded to accept then another letter read out to accept resigned member to join partnership proposed and seconded but maybe your secertary is being over keen at his job

was told last year by tom pennycott to get my young birds done early i normaly wait until a couple of weeks before the first race but will be doing them early this year

The Bug that is affecting some members & many others in West Lothian & surrounding areas is confirmed by the MAFF as PARAMYXO - not Ciro Virus as published in some of the media. The people who went through the correct proceedure to have their birds checked out with the Top Vets have had the results back in "writing" to confirm the bug and the steps that have to be applied. If all fanciers had done the right thing many weeks ago a lot of pigeons could have been saved. the facts are if you cannot afford to vaccinate then just give up the Sport, for the sake of the birds & fellow fanciers. As it stands at the moment things have now settled and the needle is working overtime - maybe a bit late ! taken from a club mini site from 2008

there has always been a coast race and one over the water with lanarkshire whats changed vincent? t the snfc will be taking the birds nobody forcing you to duplicate the only fed member i have heard complaining is bigda ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D is there members in your club complaining
