  1. lanarkshire fed canceled there race a few weeks back due to a poor weather forecast all the feds that went had a good race the birds must be at the racepoint because the weather can change very quickly in this country the downside of having birds in a basket for so long is not ideal but one thing they will be learning how to survive a holdover then race home don't get me wrong i would prefer the birds went but our climate is so changeable with so many feds canceling the birds are not learning to survive a holdover from the short races it is a killer when we ask them to fly a long way if there not clued up on what a holdover is like

  21. i guess there is a line you cant go over some people including myself over step the line surely in the interests of the site the mods should be able to use there sense to stop a discussion turning into an argument which can easily happen with two differing views i remember when the shu/rpra break happened a few years back there discussion ended with one member threating to kill the other the site was closed down i am sure richard and a few others will remember lets remember the mods don't get paid and are not always correct but hopefully they try there best

  23. or maybe some where larger we could have more ets systems running but i don't think eastbourne will have the same amount of birds as newbury but maybe next year for the first inland national
  24. think they all went to uddingston marking station people were waiting for hours they had to send for extra baskets i must say well done to delboy i think he might sleep tonight and lost a few pounds in weight into the bargain not sure of the total birdage i just left the last birds were marked at 21.40
