just got another back from wetherby just now been pouring all day i don't know what happened from wetherby but like kingbilly why always when we get to yorkshire do we get a bad race ripon.wakefield scotch corner and now wetherby i have told this story before i watched a liberation from ripon must be 9 year ago lanarkshire fed the birds cleared then a large batch broke from the main group these birds 40 mins after liberation about 300/400 were still going around ripon race course they looked like they wanted to go north but kept turning and coming back i have no idea if they birds left that day as i had to go to work

not saying it was right or wrong but pentland went at 06.40 lanarkshire went at 08.45 so something might have been switched on before lanarkshire went

cant believe there were only 12 lanarkshire fed doo's after the losses we had last week they seem to just have vanished i am sorry if i built the hope up of lanarkshire fed members for better returns there were over 100 doos picked from the unc stray centre for various feds and rpra pigeons so over this weekend there was over 150 doos brought back to scotland sadly no where near enough for lanarkshire

as long as i don't go with you i should be allowed

club mates of mine are on there way to hartlepool just now to collect at least 70 confirmed shu strays non lanarkshire pigeons will be collect by three fanciers on the way back at diffirent points thank you clockman dundee,fife angus and aberdeen redwhiteandblue almond valley,central north west henrik east of scotland, pentland, scottish borders and midlothain k young who will go to newmains for ayrshire,ballochmyle ,renfrewshire,glasgow any lanarkshire pigeons will be collected from newmains tomorrow club sec's will be informed the boys have a gb scottish ring list with them aswell if i missed any feds don't worry they will be collected just me not sure of all the feds just been told rembrantcoo is collecting gb scottish birds well done all

sorry that was my fault ricky it was changed to go with the newmains stray collection today as it made more sense to have one stray pick up point there are 70 scottish strays at the unc center at the moment that will be picked up tomorrow not all lanarkshire but i hope mostly lanarkshire these will also go to newmains for collection on monday club sec's will be called if there is any for collection remember the yorkshire and up north combine will do the same next week i hope the word would have spread of our disaster last week and more will make it home i received a ring today off a cambuslang young bird that died in pudsey yorkshire after it was picked up from the street this is the third bird i have heard that died shortly after being found sadly i think there most be many more just like these sorry again for the confusion ricky

some of the birds were in good order others were not so good hopefully we will get some more next weekend and we will find out late how many are coming up tomorrow from the unc hope you yorkshire feds have a good race it was freezing at dunbar this morning the water was on the baskets but i am sure it froze over and the drivers were looking forward to sunny england again thank you to the yorkshire people who took the trouble

JOHNY i sent you a pm last night mate the unc will take these birds tonight as we are collecting scottish strays from hartlepool on sunday frankkdooman still wants his bird brought up by eric all scottish birds will be given to federation reps on the way home to lanarkshire if you cant make that then no problem and thanks for helping

head of another three tonight leeds ,southport and wales sadly the one in leeds died after a member of the public picked it up from the ground it died 60 mins later over on pigeonland forum there has been 60 birds collected various rings but all scottish good to see birds still being collected and some making it back on there own hopefully when we collect them on saturday and sunday there will be a good amount of birds
