Think we should be cleaning those hoses and tank every 3 weeks of the season some milton or similar in the water and run it through the hose to clean it water goes off after 24 hours i believe

down the swanny although to be fair i got wiped out twice with lanarkshire fed at wetherby and think it was scotch corner so never had many yearlings left i just find the moult is not quite the same as natural birds moult

who cleans the drinking system ? are the hoses renewed ? would the fed pay to have them renewed ?

was just reminded the bird (2year old) i timed from clermont last year was a darkness yb bird done nothing as a young bird nor a yearling but i wont do darkness again

The baskets are stored by clubs in winter time am sure the fed would get the trailers under cover if they paid the going rate but we don't

what they wont even pay 50p a bird for a race from 280 miles you want them too pay for a transporter aswell

if i was a fed member i would be worried if he goes to court reckon the fed could be sued for thousands by not following the correct procedures for suspension
