i remember now best of luck with him. i know at least 1 of my 2 will be going to it not sure about the hen as she might be a bit eggy by Thursday. after a very sticky trainer today from coldstream i think it might have done more good than harm as some of the birds where 3 plus hours getting home .

mechanics at 4 to try and fix it by 5.30 not fixed .plan B would be left to our fed secretary Rhona who does a brilliant sometimes thank less job. she would have got the midlothian birds on the pentland feds reliabil transporter.

that makes it worse if it was mucking up last week .then their should have been mechanics looking at it through the week.no on a Friday at 4 o'clock. that way we would have know early enough to ask the pentland fed if we could have gone with them. (which to me would have been a bit of a brass neck when given the chance to liberate birds together with them the week before we or should i say someone refused.that said i would have been 1st to ask them .i would also put midlothian and pentland fed up together given the chance at any race point. ONLY MY OPINION

i think we the members of pigeon basics should have an auction. to try and help out the guys that have suffered a disaster on this scale. when i asked for HELP to HELP w pryde and son after their lofts and birds where burnt .i got OUTSTANDING SUPPORT from members plus others.i know their is an arson fund and that is grate but i think we all need to kick it up a notch to HELP these guys.

been told mechanics where working on it from 4o'clock .if mechanics had have said a bit sooner we could have went down with the pentland fed. their has been plenty cash ££££ put in to transporter from all members of fed .so pretty p1st off also big jump to 1st nat for birds

after basketing birds and sending them up to our transporter /i got a phone call saying i had to go back to club to pick up my birds.as the transporter was not starting. just back in from getting birds NOT HAPPY AT ALL. so the midlothian fed Leicester open is canceled
