Quite a few of members on here have used it and still do including myself, there has been a few posts already on this subject, maybe one of the mods can put a link up for you.
I would say you could possibly get the ferry straight into Dublin as its the same ferry company but no too sure if there are regulations at Dublin port regarding the birds.
Theres no problem taking or bringing birds from England on the Ferry into Belfast, I have done it quite a few times myself and J. Miller does it on a weekly basis.
Sad news indeed, they will be certainly missed in getting birds transported down through Scotland to the border regions for collection and at a resonable price too
I've had one reported to me by a none fancier here in the N/west of Ireland. He is feeding it in his garden with the local feral pigeons but he did manage to get its ring no. I have notified the owner G. Orr as to the birds whereabouts.
Hi mi5lyn, I have a few Delbar birds that I have raced and scored relatively well with out to Penzance flying into the N/west (Derry). These birds originate from Axeholme lofts and Steve Stoker lines.
I was hopeful that some of the Scotch members n here may be able to help me out, I'm looking for details/contact No of an elderly fancier I believe he is in the Edinburgh area by the name Alec/Alex Wilson, any help would be appreciated.
