target next year is 75 points in the club, 51 this year. had a terrible ob season and a great yb season so hoping that we can pick up where we left off at the end of racing. top loft in the club had around 10o point 2nd was around 75 points so if we pick up an extra 25 points throught the season could make things very interesting. we had 40.5 points with yb so dont think it is an impossible target. we usually get around 30-40 points with ob and around 15 with yb but this year was the opposite, had a few problems with our ob but hopefully we got to the bottom of it but is was a little late to do any damage with the ob so we stopped racing and concentrated on our yb team.

9 birds back in 3 days. 425 liberated. that is a disaster. no excuses mistakes have been made. people have paid good money to enter the race and i agree that they have done an excellent job all year but this is not good enuf.

HI lads i havnt had a chance to read this thread properly but the birds have been thrown at 8.10 and there is a calima over there. i read about it earlier today and could not believe that they were up. i rang a friend of mine who has 1 pigeon left in this race and told him not too expect anything back 2day or possibly even tomorrow. for the most of this visabilty is down to just 6 miles. a calima is caused from heat and strong winds. it appears to the eye to bee foggy but it is actualy dust and sand blowing in from the sahara desert. think if they where liberated in this country with that type of forecast the convoyer would be shot.

I know davey fairly well travelled back from blackpool with him last year. i used to fly against him in the upnorth combine when he flew in the marquise. good lad. good birds definatley worth haveing a look at. I have a feeling that these birds wont make the money they should. without being disrespectful i think alot of fliers in the uk dont give good fliers up here in the northeast the credit they deserve. especially if they dont fly in the wda or the upnorth. Davey has accquired good pigeons and this sale is sure to have soome great bargains.
