This Partnership has been flying since 2002 youngbirds and has achieved 135 1st in this time. They currently hold the West Durham Sprint Champion Trophy taking the 1st and 2nd position last year. This is worked out on a co efficient basis. They are top fliers in Sacriston Fed in the West Durham Amalgamation and are currently Leading the Averages in Chester-Le-Street Fed in the Upnorth Combine. The Base of there family is the old busschearts which Colin Beadle has been flying since 1976 with great success. These Pigeons are winning all over the UK. A few names include Dyson and Nichol (upnorth combine), Stevie Wilson (upnorth combine), Gerry omara (ireland), Paul keegan (ireland), Hillary and fife (west durham) and Paul Stobbs will was the latest top flyer to visit and remarked that they were the best colony of pigeons he had seen excluding his own ofcourse.

to be fair though gladdo my birds were a little off the pace 12 and 13th club but the 1st 11 paces were filled by 1 member. he had 91 away

gladdo. i don't just want to treat. i simply wanted advise. just started up this year and thought some people maybe could help. cheers big da sound advice but less aragance nxt time your tone is pretty negative. i'm more ov and optamist than pesamist. I fly in the West Durham Amal and last week we had our first yb race from 79 miles. with a light head wind. I sent 23 birds and from getting my 1st pigeon i had 20 back in less than 20 mins. on return from club i had 22 out of 23. Many fliers in my area are still 15+ short so i don't think it is a serious health issue at the min.

intresting theory. i wouldnt disagree entirely. i have started using garvo corn for my youngbirds the rep has stated to my partner that this corn is all you need to feed. no seed or vits or anything need to be added. simply feed this corn and water with grit. but certainly i would not disagree. i have a friend who has raced fantastic with his oldbirds and he was told that this could be used for youngbirds also.

pretty sure i would have noticed it's tongue being blue earlier as i often check there throats when examining my birds. i usually check the keels aswell. looking for blue skin. i have always found the pinker the flesh the better. not neccesarily that they will come just that there general health is better at this time. if it was not time to race the young birds i would have treat this for respitory and then treat it with sedechol. this ovcourse to fllush the liver. i have not had my youngbirds on the dark and fear that this would catapult this youngbird into the moult. to be honest though i think i will only get 2-3 races out of my youngbirds as the are pretty raggy.

I was looking through my youngbirds 2night and noticed 1 sitting a bit thick. on examining the bird i noticed that it's tongue was looking a bit blue. dropping's seemed good and the bird had plenty of body and is in good feather. Just wondering if i should be treating for somthing imparticular or if i should get the droppings checked. I try not to treat blind but my first reaction was that this maybe a sign or respitory problems.
