ps, forgot to mention the reason it was called food for thought. a couple of people said my season would be over and that i should forget about this year. although the people who said this may be good flyiers just prove that the birds will inevitably prove us wrong.

hi, i posted on here a few weeks ago the thread was called blue tongue. afta listening to a bit of advice from some guy's on here I managed to put a few things right and would just like to thank u who spoke to me with words of advice. Last saturday i was 1st club 2nd fed and then folowed up with a 3rd club on wed's night. this is my 1st year flying and it was my 1st win hopefully not the last. haha. thanks again.

hi people. the leading bid stands at £35 for this youngster. Mr & Mrs Weldon Son & Beadle added another 1st to the list today making it 136 since youngbirds 02'. They took the first 7 in the club with yours truly finishing 8th. they finished 7th, 8th, 10th, 13th fed with other turns to be confirmed inside the top 20. they clocked 7 birds in 1 and a half minutes and the first 5 wer within about 40 seconds. with other lofts in the west durham and upnorth reporting in with turns already with there pigeons from last week and today. well done to wayne blemings from consett who almost achieved what seems the impossible and that is to beat paul stobbs. with an unfavouring wind wayne was just pipped by paul for winning his club and wayne wired a pigeon he puirchased from Mr & Mrs Weldon Son & Beadle.

Hi the average birdage is around 350. They start the season with 40 widhood cocks for the WDA and 24 roundabout hens for the upnorth combine. Last year they had 10 x 1st feds flying against around 1200 - 1400 birds per race. These Lads are excellent fliers with excellen birds as any1 who knows them will testify too. Colin Beadle is very good friends with Charlie Woof from ollerton and has Blended his old busschearts with charlie's wildermersch. They Fly in sacriston H.S. for the WDA where the flew against Alec Showler. While Alec was flying they were the top loft in club and fed. I mention Alec's name as alot of fanciers on this site are aware of his hoongerloots (not sure of spelling) but Alec could not finish close to these guys. the Last year alec flew Mr. & mrs weldon son & beadle won 8 out of 9 young bird races. the only youngbird races Alec won that year in sacriston was the youngbird national and he also topped the West Durham Amalgamation that day.
