bit cold at the minute ,5weeks to 1st race and lots of time yet for training, but normally 2 weeks before 1st race at 15 mile

what we have to remember with a windup is when to STOP, 2 kinds of wind up,theres the 1 at marking nights where we all have a laugh ,and the 1 thats insults and tries to just make u look stupid. and as mentioned in other threads some people do not post because of this , and yes we all have our own thoughts on how to do things,but if u dont agree with it ignore it. hope u lads and lassis all a good season and lets all try to get along.cheers

2 weeks ago the wife and myself sat watching the hen birds when the hawk knocked one that was on the loft roof,then chase it straight at us,luckerly she got away but u dont reailes how big mrs hawk is till u see her up close

i was always told to add a pinch of[ potash crystals] if thats wrong its the mauve crystals ;D

my dads ,dad had them but I use to go and watch van roberts dads birds come home. had the birds when i was six started racing 25 years ago,wife helps when i work away. my grandaughter has all the red and grizzles to get her interested, she helps out every saturday try to involve her as much as we can
