A common mistake with a lot of people is mistaken identity and they lable any staffy type as a pitt bull. ALL dogs have the potential to bite or even fight. Some strains recieve bad press through the odd irresponsible owner. The nickname for the staff is indeed the nanny dog because of its love of children and out and out loyalty to its owner or family. Belive me the pitt is no different and although no pure breds are ment to be left in the U.K. They still thrive , as do various crosses that look like pitts. I have an 11 year old big staff type(Big Tony) and they make fantastic dogs around the loft. You get no problems with cats any if any unsavoury people happen to see him the dog puts off thier return . The most important thing to remember is do your homework and make sure the breed is for you. My wife has been a dogwarden for years and deals with staffs daily bases were people get them than realise they need more exercise and attention than they are prepared to give.
NO DOGS ARE BORN BAD... IT,S WHAT WE DO TO THEM AS OWNERS/TRAINERS.
Seaweed gathered from a clean coast and air dried is a good natural source of mineral and very good for respiritory problems(ask any organic farmer that lives near the coast)Also elderberry juice is easy to make up. As both are natural I personally belive they are better for our birds
I have some Leus pigeons and yes they did come from the verrottes. I bought the originals from Natural in 2005 and bred pure and crossed with my busshearts and distance stuff(southwells). They say they are sprinters out to about 250 miles but my mate scored well with one from 450. I personally prefer the crosses for racing.
Have bought louella Busshearts(Eagleson) a few times(01 02 and 03) all were £99 for 6 and were raced.Still have quite a few of the originals left and have bred some good honest birds out of them.
Benzing cream case wind up clock in excellent condition. 12 brass thimbles and original manual.£35. plus carriage or collect(Hampshire) Possible swap for interesting pigeon rings.
Cracking birds. Will try to put pics on tomorrow(not much good with computers) But can garuntee anyone that sees or handles will want.
If they don,t sell this week I will make space to keep them myself

Black cock and black w/f hen. Both Belg 2005 rung and direct from Natural Breeding Station in Antwerp. Have bred some very good birds for friends (I don't race much) Over 70% of my birds are now blacks (since these came) They are 100% Leus Verotte known s the super sprinters but friends have had them to score from 400.Only up for sale as I cant keep non-racers anymore (loft too small) Very tame family and I can possibly supply pics if req.
£100 plus carrage or collect
Blue pied latebred. Pure Eagleson Bussheart. Both parents bred by Louella and have bred good channel birds. Only lack of space stops me keeping him(small loft). Very tough pigeons that are hard to lose.
Thanks for looking
