stb 6 30am s w wind but if they had been up she could have been a day bird but stb that is all in the past i am 67 years old now and boy would i like to get a right crack to win it again aS EVERY OTHER MEMBER WOULD CLOCK ON THE DAY AND UNLESS ITS A GALE OF WIND WERE ON A HIDING TO NOTHING :o

FRANK DOOMAN WELL THE BRAIN BIT IS SORTED OUT you must agree there is some races you get perfect conditions but the doos still not libed why and this all comes down to channel but when you get that hot days channel clear its better for the birds to be in the air as there burning up in that lorry and could be up over the channel before it gets to hot but in 40 years not one good liberation day i rest my case :o :o

certainley vms you wont get everything right all of the time a NATIONAL RACE SHOULD NOT BE RELEASED AT 9AM BUT SORRY ITS HAPPENED A FEW TIMES IN SNFC WHEN THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN MID DAY LIB thats what its all about being as fair as posible WHEN THE OPPERTUNITY ARISES ALLOW THE BIRDS TO COMPETE TO THERE ABILITY SOME INFACT A LOT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET HOME ON THE DAY BUT EVEN IF THERES ONLY ONE WHY PUT OBSTECALS IN ITS WAY [AFTER ALL ITS LONG DISTANCE RACING AND THEY NEED PLENTY TIME TO COMPLETE THE COARSE WITHIN HRS OF DARKNESS

alan i know a man in consett barry hemingway in fact i put his phon number on here the last few days under whoes doo he was lling me unc has lib erated as early 4am why cant lib at 5am is unbeliveable [ i once put a post on here if you cant put the birds up stop the hrs of darkness last bird timed but this was criminal but jus t think put the boot on the other foot and ask what you would like your birds to fly till dark puts them down and being thumped by not being let up to get home sorry this is not giving the longest flying birds a chance at 600+miles good flying this year

vms ive been sending since 1971 and i cant remember [1] since i started i no mid day libs is as fair as you will get this is pigeon racing every fancier wants to get there birds in the sky as quick as posible the amount of times i have heard fanciers say this bird must have been on the door step if only they got up earleier would have got it on the night and iam the same ive timed a few the back of 5am to 6 am in the morning why not give the brave birds that chance to complete the race instead of locking it out i repete again if if if weather permits cheers

frank a lot will succumb to the weather if this lasts another week they will be to week to hunt

it supposed to get colder next week hunger and cold nothing better as very beef on them ive catched a good lot in summer and no body on them should not last once they try to get food when weak

i would go for the late george ritchie small team flyer leigh 570miles 1st 2nd 3rd sec 58 th 62 nd 70 th open snfc you wont get no better than this and this was with a oxygen tank on his back 1 2 3 in sec never been done before great fancier he was and still is the best flyer at the distance the amount of birds he flew against with a small team of birds
