We’ve put Our own twist on traditional baskets… 2x 15-20 bird basketsl! These are 400x810x260mm tall! (APPROX. 32” wide x 16” deep 10” tall) 4.8 KGS. Will hold approximately 15-20 birds. (Designed for 15 with breathing room in mind) More than enough Space for 2x basket Drinkers to the rear. When stacked the ventilation is clear to flow between the baskets. Very sturdy construction. These will last a very long time **if kept dry** Constructed from; 21x21 PSE Framing Clad in 4mm ply (Walls & Base) 9mm Dowelling. 2mm clear Acrylic release door & pop hole. The finished article Well.. Just about… we had a customer coming to collect some stuff and he was so impressed he has taken it upto its new home in Fife! (Unplanned) **THEY ARE DELIBERATELY OVER ENGINEERED TO LAST YEARS. THESE IN MY OPINION ARE A FAR SUPERIOR PRODUCT TO ANY OTHER **WOODEN** SPUTNIKS OFFERED**. They are very sturdy and well put together. With thicker material used from your average Sputnik offered. The price reflects this For this particular nearly full spec 940mm version They will be retailing for £180 a peice. BUT WE CAN BUILD THESE TO SPEC WITH DOWELS, ETS Traps OR SO ON The are constructed from; 44x44mm PSE, 12mm marine Ply landing board (we recommend having these felted to increase product longevity) 12x12mm aluminium angle surround for landing board (not pictured) 2mm Clear Plexi-Glass surround, 9mm doweling on the trap, 21x21 PSE on the dowels, R2A pine finishing over the Coro-therm, Corotherm above & around the trapping area, 1/2” Square mesh flooring. *they have 2 sliding plexi-glass fronts for letting your birds out* (hard to show on pictures as it’s clear - WE WILL be producing our own knobs etc & some customisation for future models.

The start of Some more Prototyping today! We have had numerous enquiries for Sputnik traps now and we’ve finally put some pen to paper, some blades to wood & screws to our project This particular model is 900mm wide. 44x44mm Planed Square Edge framing (I think we are going to rout in round all edges) 2mm plexiglass slotted into framing with plenty expansion space. We have made the framing much bigger than anything I’ve seen offered as I believe it will provide a much more sturdy foundation, stand the test of time, offer more rigidity and a much longer service life to you and your birds!
