really depends on how many birds are going to be using it but 4ft x 2ft x 2ft sounds ok and is better than 0ft x 0ft x 0ft

we got untill he sells his house so we were thinking of breeding from where we are now and then put the young birds in the new place

sounds like canker to me maybe wrong not a big problem and can be soon sorted out

you will need to look at them all just to check there heath is ok and look down ther throats for canker check for lice

i think it good to handle our birds as much as you can and the ones that dont like it will soon come around by offering some peanuts but dont give to many coz they would get to fat to move away and thats not the same as tame

has any one ever considered if a pigeon could be left winged or right winged because we can be left or right handed it said to affect dog and horse racing if so it could effect the birds flight a the day if the wind is on there bad side just a thought

chlorine Kills bacteria which can give room for the fungus to grow [Q] so am i right in saying canker is a fungi like thrush is to us

you made a good point about the trasporters we dont know what the quaity of the water is

if they have a small amount of poison here and there when they race it is still better than every day all year round

good point about what we drink but if you give the same dose of medication as you had that probably kill them i boil it and airer-ate it using a fish tank pump if you use a rainwater butt it could cause problems not just pollution but bad bacteria and blue/green algae that may live on the roof and then wash down into the butt there is some stuff for fishtanks to take chlorine out of the water called safe/gaurd but i never tried it and not know if it could be bad for them or not so i carn't risk that

after a fire burned out my racing partners work's he as now lost his job because of this he will have to sell his house soon leaving are birds homeless this is very depressing after all the hard work that we have both put in to them this could'nt have come at a worse time for us and may even finnish us off before are first year at racing has even started :( > :'( :'( :'( :'( :( :( does anyone know are allotments hard to get hold of how long waiting list are and such or have any other idea's what we should do nxt
