It's the sign of the times mate I am afraid. Too many loses. How did the other members get on. If they had them in then your birds where not up to it, If not then it's the sign of pigeon racing. Things have changed over the years.

In my eyes the mob flyer can have has many has he likes. It only takes one to beat them. I also do not rate mob flyers, It's quality not quantity where it matters. Take your photo. If you have twenty of these and they do the business why do you want 100 of them. I look at NFC, BBC results etc and sometimes it seems the mobbers have to send a wack to get in the thick of things.They win 1st open with a non pooler and luck was on their side. If they had sent 4 would they have won it, I doubt it very much.

Agree, national and classic racing is completly seperate. I am talking about club and fed races were the bread and butter fanciers are who support the club, but are not the best fanciers and sometimes a card keeps them going.

I won the club race by 34yds today. I had eight come together. I only wanted 1 registered as I do not see the point having the rest done, unless its a national or classic race. I believe other members sometimes do not deserve to be pushed down the sheet when its only a fed race. What do you think. 28 out of 29 so overall a decent race.

Are referring to BR Andre!! Please remember he uses club racing for training only. View his results in national and classic racing this year alone. 2nd & 4th section NFC Messac, 1st, 5th, 7th and 19th section NFC Saintes, 7th section, 299th open NFC Tarbes with 1 bird only sent. 21st section, 206th open NFC Fougers. He has also won over £600 without the Saintes result in, so if it was BR I beg to differ on his theory because I know he his good at what he does. Last year he won over £800 in the NFC with multible section and open positions, with a very small team.

Here is a update on the race. Sent 38 have 32 home. It was a very slow race covering the 50 miles in 1 hour 35 minutes. Overall happy with returns. Will see how I get on in a bit.

Thats why I need to take one chance a week with the poxy things down here?

They are healthy and bred well. Will take a chance and see how it goes. If they make this one then I will be happy.

Yes I agree, but with the state of BOP down here, id rather take one risk on a saturday rather then during the week. Its all down to the worry of getting hit!

I have had four 15 miles tosses and the first race is tomorrow from 50 miles. Would you send them all to the race. Usually the first race is a disaster, but mine are in great nick. I am sure the basket will sort out the weak. I usually take it steady with them, but it seems if you go easy on them they let you down.

Yep, agree, they are very good at what they do.

I am glad that a few are not having any trouble. Come down to my lofts and you will have a shock. Two days running with two perrys chasing them last night. You are the lucky few, it all depends where you live it looks like. Around the loft and training is like nigtmare on elm street.
