  1. its a mystery what happens to them up there.wish they could talk and tell us what is going on. ;D ;D
  2. they would have missed mine as i did not let them out untill 1.00pm.newbury birds had been home a couple of hours.
  3. just had 1 drift in and he looks knackered,i think they have definately been in with other birds.
  4. they have been trained 40 miles in every direction,which is what i usually do.their coming great from training sessions.these losses are occuring off the loft.
  5. i let them out at about 1.00pm,they bunched immeadiately circled once and struck off up the valley.12 returned about an hour ago but 4 are still missing.
  6. let my youngsters out for some exercise today and guess what yet another four missing.i am hopeing that they will work their way back by the end of the day.thats 7 gone in the last week.their not first timers they are first round older youngsters.all have been vaccinated etc and are looking and training well,but for some reason they keep getting into trouble and fail to come back home.is anyone else suffering from this phenomenom.

  10. its an awkward one.maybe you could make some enquiries and find out who the owners of the shop are so that they can let him out.water and food are very important,if the bird is trapped without either he will only last a few days.sorry i could not be of more help and thank you for caring.regards paul.

  12. i intend to fly the natural way for my first yb season but in future i might dabble with widowhood.just want to have some fun for now with the birds(feathered type of course).

  20. the following birds are overdue from a training toss from the severn bridge in south wales.they were released friday 29th may.their ring numbers are WHU2009N00736 red cheq cock,WHU2009N00745 red cheq cock,WHU2009N00740 red cheq hen.i also had one return from the training toss all banged up so i am assuming they hit wires on their way home.they are all wing stamped,please pm me if you get these birds in.your help is appreciated.thanks paul.

  24. i reported 1 which my misses found out on the road,he was fine just knackered.he belonged to a mr john evans from the rhondda valley,he was picked up by mr evans yesterday morning.sorted.paul
  25. hi.let mine out on a sunday afternoon and they got picked up by a bunch of trainers going through,got them all back but i dont think any day is suitable this time of year.
