  5. no mate i know exactly what he means ,they all think we came down in the last shower .as most know the caladonian combine has the use of 3/4 transporters one of which is south lanarks the others are glasgow feds and gordon geddes ,s
  6. why would fed members want to go on lanarkshires lorry after being on a giraldy beats me ,is it politcal? so you,se can go to snfc races ?
  7. why dont you then (go on the lanarkshire motor) and we will keep using the old giraldy
  8. aye the good old days mate . i wish i could blow my own trumpet ,does you beer belly not get in the road lol
  9. of course we all want the best but if you think you are right in what you say you dont just buckle when someone challenges it ,as you have said in a pm to me you havent lost a bird in 3 races from cockenzie WHY CHANGE?
  10. see you and your memory john gets me every time ,i think ive won it twice but ive only been a member for 4 years ,but i won the old bird average in renfrew fed 4 times as well three on the trot as well
  11. god help the rest of the commitee now ;)well you stated that if jack mcg was still alive things would be different what?im intreeged (spelling ?)

  13. frank leslie davidson never won a national it wa captain leslie of gourock in 1912 or something .
  14. probably not as he was a great fancier from 1st race to last.
  15. as good as jack?
  16. tam jack was a great pigeon fancier was he not IS THERE ANYONE AS GOOD IN YOUR AREA NOW ?
  17. and you still want to race from there? :-/
  18. well then ask the fifers, the birds dont cross the forth there, they go west till they get to the bridge then they cross ,so they say anyway. i thought you stayed in the renton you have birds home before me and i give you overfly. sorry rab have replied to the wrong post .
  19. yes thats right tam there is a lot of pylons out that way but as you get to cockenzie its clear as a bell the pylons are southwest of cockenzie .and i do agree about the bermuda triangle ,but where do you race from ,or do you jump past that area.and get into even more strife ,are you losing birds from cocenzie ?
  20. yuou mentioned crawford ,we race from sanquhar , as for a little further east well if you want to got there you,ll be going your self , ask the southlanark boys ,do you know where they train east to northeast it the only way they can train and yet still they get skelped . take a drive down that neck of the woods and have a look for youself
  21. rab i just posted the same as this a few posts ago, its only an education thats all , motovation is what makes the doo,s cut the corner nothing else
  22. i agree tam with some of this post especially about bop being everywhere , if you remember two years back the 3 x cockenzie races were done away with and after some dodgie races surprise surprise they were back on the following year, and i hope you dont think i have lots to lose mate as i am only interested in the longer races ,but i only want some birds left to try these longer ones ,because if you do away with the first 3 races your asking for trouble
  23. AND whos raced from there before ? or is it because lanarkshire are going to this place
  24. of course your entitled to your opinion mate , as i have said been there tried that and the races from cockenzie have been a great way of learning your babies about a night out and to come out the basket and not to far away from home ,who cares if you win or not from these races its only an education ,ill put this to you ask on another thread WHERE THE WEST SECTION MEMBERS TRAIN THERE DOO,S GO ON ASK . I,LL TELL YOU AROUND 90% WILL TRAIN EAST
  25. cockenzie is 65 miles to me so if you go southeast 65 miles your in the heart of bandit territory trust me ,otterburn is 108 ,crawford was 47 miles
