  1. I have set this message to the wild life trust Nottingham. Why don't you do the same and see what response we get.Has I said don't hold your breath we could be here a long time. "I have been following the Notts peregrines for some time now and have noted where possible the amount of racing pigeon life rings in the nest.I would be very grateful if you would forward the rings to the address below, then they can be returned to their respective owners/or advised of the pigeons demise. I await your response to this message". The Royal Pigeon Racing Association The Reddings Cheltenham Gloucestershire GL51 6RN Yours Tom L Charters.

  6. GB10N39639.Blue W.F. hen just arrived, excellent condition within reason, lost her at Tewkesbury on the 19th.May,one of my fancied pigeons. Thank you for looking after her, been in a clean pigeon loft wherever. Lindsay.
  7. It will make a difference to the velocity, the flying time is not the same,it's 2 minutes less. The clock doesn't know what time the pigeons are liberated irrespective of the clock being set wrong.
  8. More confusion ? So what you are saying Willie, all the clocks that went out and were synchronised with base station B are infact wrong,ie.two minutes fast ? The clocks would read the time the pigeon arrived but obviously two minutes later than they would have been had the clock been set correctly. I think it's time that someone purchased a gps/radio clock and the error would not occur again.?
  9. She's been here twelve month or there abouts,I've four nice young birds off her hope they are as hard to loose.
  10. Walked out of the stock loft yesterday afternoon left the door open and a blue hen followed me,looked round and away she went.I let the old birds out to try and hold her but after half a hour she broke away got higher and higher and that was it.She had never seen outside the loft, only seen through opaque windows. Back to Warwickshire I assumed. Sitting on the computer tonight and I noticed a blue hen drop on the garden,I slowly walked passed her and opened the race loft door and in she went. Amazing or what,I genuinely thought she'd gone.
